Effect of 8 Weeks of Combined Plyometric Training on Increasing Lower and Upper Body Muscle Power in Student Volleyball Athletes

The study purpose was to identify the effects of a combination plyometric exercises in increasing leg and arm power abilities volleyball athletes. Materials methods. Forty students were involved this study. They who active practicing volleyball, then they divided into four groups 10 each, namely (1) Squat thrust jumps clap push-ups, (2) lateral (3) Rope push-ups; (4) push-ups. Then practiced plyometrics three times week for eight weeks. Statistical analysis used t-test N-Gain Score using Package Social Science (SPSS) version 26 program. Results. results stated that it had an effect on muscle both legs arms (p<0.05); then, showed squat push-up effective ability by 84.43% while variety jump push-ups provide effectiveness 25.23%. Conclusions. these two types successful helping athletes improve their vertical abilities. Still, from study, not very capacity power.
